WELCOME TO WOODLANDS
VILLAGE HALL DORSET

Nestled amidst the tranquil countryside of rural Dorset lies Woodlands Village Hall, surrounded by the ancient woodlands of the historic Shaftesbury estate.

This versatile venue is ideal for a wide range of occasions, from family gatherings to community events. It serves as a hub for various activities, including arts, crafts, music and dance classes, book clubs, nature walks, and theatrical performances. For detailed information about our facilities, please visit our hire page.

Conveniently located at the heart of the village, our purpose-built facility sits equidistant between the Methodist Chapel and the Woodlands Church of Ascension. Nearby, the renowned 800-year-old Remedy Oak tree, said to have been touched by King Edward VI, is just a short distance away and the 12th century Knowlton Church surrounded by its Neolithic earthworks is a ten minute drive.

Managed by a dedicated team of volunteers, Woodlands Village Hall serves as a focal point for village activities and events. To find out what we have planned throughout the year, please visit our upcoming events page.
